Academic Games -  is an extra-curricular program where students compete with other schools and win by out-thinking their opponent in Mathematics, Language Arts, and Social Studies.

Academic Games at CPA - We begin our program with stregthening our students' math skills. Students are then encouraged to think outside the box and construct concepts of set theory (collection of objects). Students are taught an English based game that helps builds students' vocabulary. Lastly, students are taught a game that is reading based and students are expected to differentiate the many forms of persuasion.

Important Information:

  • Students compete monthly from September to March.
  • Our team practices twice a week.
  • We are State Champions 3 years in a row.
  • We treat our team members like family.

Our Goal:

To strengthen our students' thinking.
