Michigan students' microgravity experiment chosen for NASA space launch

Chandler Park Academy School District and Poupard Elementary School, both in Harper Woods, are among 304 schools that were part of the National Center for Earth and Space Science Education’s Mission 14 Student Spaceflight.
The program provided schools the opportunity to work on a variety of experiments that could be launched into space. This is the program’s 10th year but this is Chandler Park’s first flight venturing into the final frontier. The Poupard project did not make the final cut.
